Quokka Cabins are classified within the Australian building code (BCA) as Class 1A detached dwelling and are compliant with the newly revised National Construction Code (NCC) for liveable housing standards. We can help guide you through the steps required to obtain council certification and approvals that your local government may require. Please note that approvals vary between local governments, and we do not represent that your tiny home will be able to be approved for use as permanent accommodation.
Our cabins also achieve a 7-star energy efficiency rating when appropriately sited on your property. We offer optional deck pods and patio roofing kits that integrate with all our designs. Quokka and our sister company, Deking Decks, have the knowledge and experience to guide you through every step of this process.
